The trail is well signposted with yellow arrows, except for the stretch between Béjar and Calzada de Béjar, where the route runs along a secondary road with very little traffic. Cycling is slightly difficult on some stretches during the rainy season. Some streams need to be forded or crossed, though they do not present any major difficulty.
The percentage of trails/paths is 90%, with the remaining 10% being paved roads.

Detour. The trail to the right, which is easier to cycle on, leads to Salamanca. The one to the left, which you take, is more technical and difficult, but passes closer to San Pedro de Rozados, the end of this stage.
